Relatively easy hiking up climber's right (east) of the outlet stream.Time to try another route. Hiking along the Crown Jewels into the upper valley.Views back down the Clearwater Trail to Dip Slope Mountain.Views back towards Deluc Mountain and the Three Brothers as the sky clouds up.Incredible colored tarns are pretty much all that's left of Harris' NE glacier.Descending steep rubble slopes to exit the headwall.Mamen Peak is over 10,500 feet high!Hiking up the Clearwater Trail to Devon Lakes and Clearwater Pass.Getting into the upper south bowl of Harris was much more work than it appeared.Lost Guide at left and Mount Peters at right with Martin and Trident Lakes just visible.Abandoning any hope of standing on top of Mount Harris from the south side.Mount Willingdon's NE face is fierce as heck!!The outlet stream flowing south and east from Mount Harris.The Clearwater River is more of a stream at this point.Looking MUCH closer than it is, the upper SE ridge is hundreds of vertical meters of loose scree (R)Hiking up the Clearwater Trail to Devon Lakes and Clearwater Pass.Hiking up the Clearwater Trail to Devon Lakes and Clearwater Pass.Views from the SE ridge looking NE towards Martin and Trident Lakes and down the Clearwater River.Time to try another route. Hiking along the Crown Jewels into the upper valley (L).Cataract Peak rises over the Dip Slope Lakes.
